Travel logisticsThe closest airport is the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.
It is strongly advised for non-Nigerian citizens to apply 1–2 months before travel to account for potential processing delays.
Dual Nigerian citizens can travel to Nigeria with an expired passport. You can also travel with proof that you’ve applied to renew the passport if you want an extra layer of peace of mind.
